·         Well-equipped Laboratory.

·        One singled panel Electrical balance is procured in the year 2002.

8. Activities :

• Besides tyhe normal academic activities, Department of Chemistry has been conducting state level Chemistry Olympiad annually since 2002 and students of secondary and higher secondary level of bongaigaon district are motivated to participate in this competition. As a result, a good number of students participate in this state level competition. Performance of the students of Birjhora Mahavidyalaya center is out standing. In 2008 one student of senior level secured 2^nd position in Chemistry Olympiad.
• Two faculty members, Mr. M.N. Thakuria and Mr. P.Chakravorty have been perusing research work leading to Ph.D. They have already completed Minor Research Project sponsored by U.G.C. Moreover, Mr. M.N. Thakuria is also pursuing him second Minor Research Project.
